Transfer Window is getting closer at the end of the season just a couple weeks left. You’ll find several names on the headlines as they reportedly to move into new clubs or leagues. Some of them already reached an agreement even before the transfer window starts the next July. Some of the clubs also point out names as their main target in the next transfer window.
Marko Grujic is one of the players mentioned to leave his clubs to join Atletico Madrid. For all these years, he’s considered as a misfit in the Liverpool squad. And maybe this summer he’ll find the most fitted clubs for him to join in.
Atletico Madrid reportedly wants to sign the midfielder on a permanent transfer. A credible source has said that Liverpool wants 40 million euros for the Serbia international player. That amount is exactly won’t put off the suitor, especially because at the same time they soon will get at least 70 million euros from Rodri’s transfer. The 22-year-old player recently linked to Manchester City and perhaps will leave for the offer. And if Rodri leaves, they’ll need a replacement, and Marko Grujic is considered as the most fitting replacement for him.
Atletico Madrid Is The Right Solution For Grujic
Marko Grujic spends his 2018-2019 season in the Bundesliga club, Hertha Berlin. He’s pretty impressive with the club and has enjoyed a good season as he scored four goals and setting up another in 19 appearances to date. But unfortunately, the capital club’s poor performance in recent weeks means they will not feature in Europe next term.
That is more than enough reason for him to leave Hertha Berlin at the end of this season and joining Atletico Madrid afterward. Recently he is mentioned as Hertha’s best midfielder in 20 years. That provision is more than enough for him to join Atletico Madrid next summer. With Atletico Madrid, he could showcase his talent in the UEFA Champions League.
Marko Grujic early days at Liverpool is not going really well. He joined The Reds from Red Star in January 2016. But he has made just eight appearances as a substitute player under Juergen Klopp. He spent the second half of 2017-2018 on loan at Cardiff, whom he helped win promotion to the Premier League. He later joined Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan in summer 2018.
Return to Liverpool at the end of the season perhaps is not a choice for him. Hertha Berlin is also not an option as their condition isn’t smooth either. That’s why Atletico Madrid would be a good solution for him. Meanwhile, Liverpool is likely to have no objection about this transfer as they considered Marko Grujic a misfit. Trusted casino online also thinks letting him go might be the best solution for them as well.
