Prior to the summer transfer window, Arsenal’s manager Unai Emery has hinted at a wave of departures of a lot of his players. The reason for this mainly because they failed to qualify for the Champions League as they humiliated by Chelsea in a 4-1 defeat in the Europa League final in Baku.
Because of the defeat, The Gunners will spend their third consecutive season in the Europa League as they also failed to secure the top four position at the Premier League to gain one ticket for playing in the Champions League for the next season. He said they have young players getting the first experience of a final and he is positive for their future with young players getting better in their way.

The manager said that he is very proud of their work so far, but certainly not very proud to not achieve their target this season, but still, he is proud of their work because he thinks the players already did all they could to achieve their target and they are already closer to other teams. Therefore he is sure next year they can continue with the same team with some new players coming to help them get better.
